A SEED PARCEL :)
I totally forgot to blog about this parcel i received a sometime ago.. It’s a gift of seeds from Hershal Pandya, editor, www.care4nature.org . He’d asked me if i would be interested in some seeds he has lying around with him. My association with Hershal goes back to the year 2008 when i just started out with full-fledged gardening and in the course of which we’d swapped some seeds with each other. And it wasn’t until last year that he contacted me again to if i can contribute an article for a monthly garden column they were planning to start;an offer which i gladly accepted!
What surprised me most is that out of all these packets, three are from that same seed swap 4 years ago and they had my label with handwriting intact.. will be interesting to see if they germinate.. perhaps i will try the baggie method.. exciting!
There are also a lot of other seeds with a nice little note.. It particularly touched me to read ” With you, they have the best chance” Thanks a lot Hershal for that amazing compliment and the package as well:)
