THE TRIP TO A NURSERY AND MORAL OF THE STORY

It all began with my hunt for some sweet potato vines which i need for a site and home as well. Having searched almost everywhere, this very common plant was nowhere to be found. Running for some some errands, i decided to check the nearby nursery if they had anything new and happening for the summers. Out of habit i asked if they had the vine and got the usual reply but quite a rude one. Problem is these people think they know it all and said oh you mean sweet PEA..! I wanted to hang him but instead said sweet POTATO again and I decided to hang around anyway. I am patting myself on the back that i did!  Going at the far end of the nursery i found the same vines in a pitiful condition as if waiting for me to rescue them. After enlightening the nursery owner that he did have them and would have just missed a sale because he was too ignorant to hear, i bought 6 of them :P. Well he mellowed down a bit and completely became a sweetie when i rattled off more plant names than him. What i also found totally trashed away and ignored was a pot full of these two kinds of succulents out of which i managed to get a few plants 😀 Basking in the joy of succulents i was checking out the geraniums(can’t help) which were all blooming in pink. I asked if they had any other color and they did.. an orange… which was missing from my collection.. amongst all the pink, they had only two orange plants one kept for the nursery and one for ME ME ME.. All this for Rs. 150.. geranium-50, succulents-10, sweet potato vine (6)-90
Also some cool sightings at the nursery..

MORAL OF THE STORY: DON’T ASK.. JUST LOOK.. EVEN IF THE PERSON IS RUDE.. THE PLANTS WILL BE WORTH IT ALL 🙂
