I JUST CAN’T STOP SOWING SEEDS!!!! Maybe because they never stop germinating for me.. (and i hope they don’t)

I’m back to delhi and bought some seeds along with me to sow n grow here.. so today i set out with a bag of compost ,empty plastic containers and seeds.. the original plan was to sow just 8 but i ended up with 26.. oh well.. i guess this much deviation is always allowed in the garden isnt it? I wanted to sow in my regular mix of cocopeat+perlite but found none at the local seed shop.. out of stock:( {it just proves the fact that there are still other maniacs out there like me sowing seeds..} Blessed to have company ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyhow since i have sweet peas that germinated and are flourishing in the same compost, i just used it to sow more.. What baffles me is the fact that it is the same compost which burnt most of my collection few months ago but the seedlings seem to be doing more than just fine.. guess its an immunity-from-childhood thing..

I still have way tooooo many seeds in my collection.. harvest from last year was aesome plus the hundred or so packets tht i ordered ths year don’t exactly bring don the number.. add to it seed swaps.. so i got ths brilliant wildflowers on a meadow kind of idea.. took wo plastic containers, took a lot of diff kinds of seeds that i have in excess and mixed them to create a mix.. this mix will be evenly spread and sown in ground where only the roses live so far.. should turn out to be a fast for the eyes.. there are about 20 varieties in ths mix.. the only thing is that i’m still left with too many seeds:)

Maybe i should just start giving them out.. i’m also on a hunt for local NGO’s who accept seedlings of vegetables and fruits to grow for charity.. for the home ย am venturing into growing a few tomatoes chillies n all but when i have the ability and surplus seeds why let it go to waste when it can feed someone.. any suggestions in this regard are most welcome..

What has got me very excited is the ranunculus germinating.. i’d sown four seeds out of which i can see 3 coming up.. yipppeeeeeee!!

I’m starting to see volunteer seedlings in the garden and this linum is so totally welcome when i never sowed it this year.. there is another pot which has petunia like seedlings but its its too early to comment upon as yet..

And last but not the least.. Roses!! In all colors and sizes they are coming back in form.. And i haven’t even fertilized them yet.. Welcome Winters:)
