THE GARDEN “ON MOVE”
So.. I’ve been absent because me and my garden have shifted.. well the garden is shifting in bits n pieces actually… so in the course of shifting, i could not sow seeds this year i pined to! But i am making up for it by hoarding geraniums (yes.. again!).. So while the old planters reach their new home, i have about 3 big geraniums, 6 geranium seedlings and some seeds ready to be planted.. I also have my eye on 3 ivy-leaf geraniums i saw yest at a local nursery 😛
The “ger” obsession(i just noticed!) continues with me adding 4 new gerberas to the existing ones.. The other day at my fav. nursery i noticed an “OH WOW” color which i knew i had to have the moment it caught my eye.. The flower was still unfurling but i knew the beauty i had just discovered.. a greenish white gerbera.. even lighter then the green chrysanthemum i had last year… Call it my obsession with white/whitish flowers but there was no way i was coming home without it!
I also made my first planter-purchase in my new home yest comprising of 14 simple cement planters (RS. 25 FOR 12″ after bargain) but it made me so super happy that i wanted to go out at night and garden..
I have also been buying seeds of cherry tomato and lettuce iceberg while eyeing some varieties of lilies including gloriosa and lilium but i resisted as of now ( God knows for how long though!) I am just waiting for a good deal as i also need to buy lilies in bulk for a site..
