BAGGIE METHOD..

For the first time, i’m trying the baggie method for germinating seeds.. i have been aware of this particular method for a long time now but i never actually got around to trying it unless i tried and failed with impatiens seeds with my standard method.. and since impatiens are my obsession as of now, i’m not going to leave any stone unturned till they give in and come out of their hiding.. so with a few ziplock bags and seeds in hand(i suddenly realized i need to germinate quite a lot of seeds at this very moment only).. i set to work misting paper towels, scattering seeds, marking and packing inside the bags.. for starters i have sowed 8 types of seeds in 2 bags and they are resting on the top of the fridge.. so far so good.. this is wat my first attempt looks like..

Basically i want to get a hold over this method before the 2-3 months left for winter sowing.. there are hundreds of seed types to sow in winters and getting them all to germinate gives me a tough time.. so if i’m successful at this method i shall probably be able to dream confidently of exotic winter flowers blooming in my garden.. while the seeds enjoy their warm and humid bed(i hope they dont fall asleep) i’m off to prepare soil mix and get small pots ready for transplant as soon as i see germination..
